self-learning towards a dream job: co-creating websites…

I am self-learning front-end web development, using different frameworks and technologies.

On top of that I have wide business-oriented knowledge about software development processes from my studies.

Technology #1: using WordPress, a good theme and plugins

Domain setup, different hosting frameworks, security (https), Wordpress themes, SEO

{I am currently creating a website for an inspiring teacher and artist}

1* Digital Ocean account with PortableDoor droplet (in Canada) where I installed an Ubuntu server version 14.04.4 x64

2*

3* ServerPilot account, from where I connected to PortableDoor droplet (portabledoorlab)

4* I created 2 WordPress Apps on this server: 1) portable door (portabledoor.com – domain doesn’t exist yet) and 2) iwona (a registered domain)

5* bought a SLL certificate for 1 year through Namecheap

6* I installed the PositiveSLL certificate through ServerPilot (with CSR and an RSA private key) and made it https

7* CloudFlare account (DNS Hosting Service running “domain name system servers” )

8* I pointed name servers (DNS) from Namecheap to CloudFlare

9* GitHub account

10* installed plugins in the admin-panel:

Backwpup

Yoast Seo

Contact form 7

W3TC

…and more

11* Made the site non-searchable by google until you want it to be indexed.

(“disable search engine visibility” in Settings —>  Reading)

12* bought themes (Master Club) from Themify.se

Technology #2: using Bootstrap, html, css, javascript

{I am currently working on my own website and soon I will put my working process on Git Hub}

Bootstrap 3

javascript

media queries
